What changes will the 2018 crop year bring? A webinar Thursday, March 29, will offer a first look at USDA’s 2018 March Planting Intentions Report and grain stocks on hand for Arkansas and the nation.
Presenter Eugene Young is the regional director for the USDA-NASS Delta Regional Office located in Little Rock, Ark., which serves Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Young has 28 years of experience with working at USDA-NASS and has worked in offices in Arkansas, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C.
He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s of science degree in Agricultural Business and a master’s in Agricultural Economics.
Following Young’s presentation, Dr. Jarrod Hardke, Arkansas Extension rice agronomist will provide an Arkansas rice update and his perspective on USDA’s planting intentions report as it relates to Arkansas.
The webinar, presented by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture, is set for 4 p.m. Central Time.
